OKR tree

Power

optional goal rail · objective cards with average progress · aligned key-result rows with start-to-target bars

An optional goal card drops a rail to two to four objective cards; each objective branches by elbow links into two to four aligned key-result rows. Every row shows its measure, current value, a progress bar derived from start to target with both ends labeled, and an optional status pill. Objective cards show the average of their key results' progress.

When to use it

Use for OKRs and other goal trees whose measures have a baseline, current value and target: a team's quarterly OKRs, a department's annual goals and KPIs, a program's outcomes and the metrics that track them, a sales plan's objectives and quotas. Progress is derived from the supplied numbers. Not for qualitative goals without measurements, for a single metric against target, for project task status, or for org charts.
