Benefit and horizon grid

Power

ordered benefit rows by time-horizon columns · entries listed in their cell

A grid of three or four ordered benefit levels (highest at the top, each with its ordinal step marks) against three or four time horizons (soonest at the left, under a time arrow). Each cell lists its entries as compact text rows with dot or icon bullets, rows sized to their fullest cell; empty cells stay empty.

When to use it

Use to sort named technologies, initiatives, product bets, regulations or market trends by an expected benefit level and the time horizon until it matters, as in an analyst priority matrix, an innovation radar summary, a product bet portfolio or a policy horizon scan. Levels are supplied categories, not scores. Not for numeric positions (use a scatter or quadrant plot), for a curve of expectations over time (use a hype cycle), or for more than six entries in one cell.
