Chart: donut with one slice broken out
MaxA flat donut of three to six arcs sized exactly by supplied amounts, keyed by a side legend with values and rounded shares. One supplied part slides out toward a stacked bar beside the ring; two quiet lines run from the slice's edges to the bar's top and bottom, and the bar splits only that part into two to six exact sub-parts labelled with their values and shares of the whole.

When to use it
Use for one whole whose single part needs its own composition: revenue by region with one region by country, a budget with one department by line item, traffic by channel with paid split by network, time spent with meetings broken down. The broken-out part must be less than half of the whole and its sub-parts must add up exactly to it. Not for two or more parts broken down at once, parts of different wholes, unrelated rates, zero or negative amounts, trends over time or requests that give no numbers.
