Chart: hemicycle
MaxEvery unit of one complete whole is an equal dot in concentric semicircular rows. Groups fill the arc from left to right in supplied order, so each forms one wedge-like block; the total and its name sit in the hole, and a side key gives each group's exact count and rounded share. An optional dashed line marks a supplied target count between the exact seats it separates.

When to use it
Use for a countable whole of ten to two hundred units split into two to eight groups, where reading the blocks against each other and against a threshold matters: a board or council vote against a majority, committee or panel composition, a workforce by role, survey responses by answer, customers by plan. Unlike a donut, each dot is one countable unit; unlike a waffle, the arc reads as a chamber and the target line shows whether the leading groups reach it. Not for fractional amounts, more than two hundred units, measurements without a countable unit or incomplete wholes.
