Proportional area chart
MaxThree to seven projected low discs of one uniform height stand side by side in one row on a shared plinth, their front edges on one line; each disc's top area is exactly proportional to its amount, the exact value sits upright above its top, its name on the plinth's front face below, and a note under the plinth names the measure and states that areas are to scale and height carries no data.

When to use it
Use for one positive measure across independent peers whose amounts span a wide range, where columns would flatten the small ones: market size by segment, revenue by country, users by platform, spend by department, deal value by account. Not for nested subsets of one total, shares that must add up to a whole, zero or negative amounts, time series, more than seven items or reading precise differences between close values.
