Stacked shares: 100% area over periods
PowerTwo to seven series stacked as flat areas that fill each of four to twelve ordered periods to 100% of that period's total, on a 0–100% share axis, with each series named at the right end beside its first and last share, an optional highlighted series, and a ledger of every amount and period total aligned under the periods.

When to use it
Suits how a whole divides over time: market or browser share by year, revenue mix by product line per quarter, traffic by channel per month, workforce by region over years, energy mix by source. Needs one nonnegative amount per series and period in one unit, with a positive total in every period. Shows shares, not absolute size: use stacked columns or an area chart when the total's growth matters, and a line chart for unrelated rates.
