Treemap: grouped regions with name-and-total bands
PowerTwo-level treemap: ordered groups fill rows of a landscape plot, each headed by a band with its name, total and share, and split into tiles whose areas are exactly proportional to their amounts, shaded by value rank in the group's color. Tiles show label, amount and share when they fit; smaller tiles are numbered into a side key, and zero amounts are listed there without area.

When to use it
Use to show how one whole divides into groups and parts at once: an operating budget by department and line item, revenue by region and product, headcount by function and team, or a portfolio by asset class and holding. Suits 3–24 nonnegative amounts in one unit across 2–6 groups. Not for amounts that do not add up to one whole, negative values, changes over time, or deeper hierarchies.
