Bubble matrix
PowerTwo to eight entries placed on two numeric axes split by supplied thresholds into four named quadrants, each drawn as a translucent bubble whose area shows a third nonnegative amount, labeled inside or beside it, with a ledger of exact amounts and quadrant membership and a reference size key. The horizontal axis can run high-to-low, as in the classic growth-share matrix.

When to use it
Portfolio and prioritization views where position and size both matter: a growth-share product portfolio sized by revenue, projects by value and effort sized by budget, customer segments by frequency and spend sized by customer count, markets by attractiveness and strength sized by market size. Not for points without a size amount (use a scatter or numeric quadrant matrix), for categorical or ordinal positions (use a nine-box or categorical matrix), or for more than eight entries.
