Matrix: shaded value cells
PowerA grid of rows by columns of cells shaded and labeled by their values, with a bar above every column for its computed total and a bar to the right of every row for its computed total, both flush with their exact column or row on one shared scale from zero, and the grand total where the two margins meet.

When to use it
Use to show how one additive measure splits across two lists and which rows and columns carry the most, such as revenue by product line and region, support tickets by channel and weekday, headcount by department and office, or defects by component and release. Needs a value for every crossing so the totals are exact. Not for negative values, rates or averages that do not add up, values in different units, missing crossings, or good-or-bad ratings.
