Chart: Net Promoter Score
MaxEleven touching-pitch columns show the exact response count for every score from 0 to 10 on one zero baseline. Under them, three tinted bands group scores 0–6, 7–8 and 9–10 as detractors, passives and promoters, each with its derived count and rounded share. Above, the derived score sits as a large figure beside a short -100 to 100 scale with its marker.

When to use it
Use for a Net Promoter Score survey supplied as response counts per score: customer NPS, employee eNPS, post-support or post-purchase surveys, product or feature NPS. The classes and score follow Reichheld's definition (Harvard Business Review, 2003) as maintained by Bain & Company: detractors score 0–6, passives 7–8, promoters 9–10, and the score is the promoter share minus the detractor share, from -100 to 100. Not for other rating scales, averages without per-score counts, trends over time, several segments compared side by side or scores supplied without their response counts.
